Bamboo Coaster Weaving Workshop

Bamboo, a symbol of strength and grace in Chinese culture, is one of the most sustainable and versatile natural materials. In this workshop led by Yi Crafts, you’ll learn traditional bamboo weaving techniques from Yi Crafts, using your hands to create rhythm, form, and function. You’ll discover how to prepare bamboo strips, understand the aesthetics of interlaced weaving, and craft your own bamboo coaster. As you weave, you’ll also experience the meditative, grounding rhythm of this timeless craft.
